Rocklin, CA, August 1, 2001 - HRaspx today announced the release of HRaspx C/S Version 5 (V5) which includes hundreds of enhancements and improvements that have been suggested by their clients over the past 12 months. The development focus on V5 has been to improve the user-interface, expand data accessibility and reporting, provide more automated and streamlined processes and fix known problems with the system.

Some of the hundreds of enhancements include:
- The user interface and menu system is designed using the latest Microsoft Outlook / Windows XP graphical user interface with changes to the menu launcher and drop down menus.
- Completely updated User Guides for all modules, which contains a comprehensive collection of screen captures providing step-by-step instruction for all processes and can be accessed on-line or printed.
- Custom Browse Each of the Master Screens (Resource Master, Benefit Master, Applicant Master, Class Scheduler, COBRA Processing and FSA Claims) provide a Custom Browse which allows you to pull data from multiple related tables into the BROWSE.
- Browse Templates Each browse now includes the capability to create a reusable merge file that can be used to merge data with single or multiple records.
- Report Express is available in the Browse allowing users to create grid reports with report writer capabilities, including adding colors, footers/headers, shading, font styles and sizing, etc.
- View Transactions History can be viewed within each record to see what data changes have occurred on the record. This report matrix shows the table and column name changed, the previous value, new value, date, and the user ID that made the change.
- Run Core Enrollment you can now automatically populate employee records during open enrollment with the benefit plans that have been flagged as CORE. The system will set the plan coverage for Health Plans as EMP ONLY and the ELECTION DATE will be populated with the START DATE of the Plans. In addition, you can select the Plan Option you wish to process (i.e., Health, Life, FSA, Financial, All).
- Run Open Enrollment you can automatically rollover plan elections from one year to the next, creating a new record for the new plan year.
- Benefits Recalculation Options you can automatically update employee premiums/contributions and coverage amounts as needed based on the rules of your plans. For example, if you need to update contributions due to changes in salary, age, etc., this process will update the current plan records.
- COBRA Processing Automatic trigger processing of qualified COBRA Events.
- Web SelfService - Totally new user interface, including new graphics, navigation, buttons, etc. Many new wizards have been added allowing the processing of New Hire/Rehires, Compensation Changes, Job Changes, Actions, Reviews and much more. Open Enrollment has been made easier for quicker access in and out, providing the means for users to go to the panel they wish to update rather than walking them through each one. New reports, including Benefit Summary and Benefit Options, which make it easy for users to see what plans they are currently enrolled and for what additional plans they are eligible. Benefit Event Wizard allows for Life Events to be recorded and subsequent benefit enrollment changes can be made.
