Time & Expense Module Tracks Detailed Employee Time And Expense Information Including Project And Job Cost Allocations

Rocklin, CA, January 2, 2002 - HRaspx today announced the upcoming January release of their new Time & Expense software that allows detailed time and expense information to be tracked and stored as part of the HRaspx employee database.

Time and expense entry windows are user-defined to collect only the information that is important to the user, which speeds up the data entry process. The time sheet header can track Pay Period, Batch, Job and Position worked, Organization Levels (i.e. Company, Region, Location, Division, Department) worked and Time Sheet Comments. The time sheet detail tracks Date, Day, Time Type, Description, Hours, Comment, Billable Status, Hourly Rate Override, New Rate and Shift Worked. Running total of regular hours, overtime hours and total hours are displayed to ensure the correct total detail hours have been entered. Expense sheets track most of the same information as well as expense types and costs.

User-defined Personal Time Off categories that are associated with employee Time Off Benefits (i.e. Vacation, Sick, Holiday) and Leave of Absence time types (i.e. Family Medical Leave Act, etc.) can be tracked and accrued. User-defined pay period calendars are available to speed up data entry and ensure time and expense are entered in the correct pay periods.

There is a time saving Batch Processing feature that automatically creates user-defined time sheet entries (i.e. Regular Hours = 80) and expense sheet entries (i.e. Weekly Parking Fees = $50.00) for individual employees or groups of employees. Job cost or project information can be tracked using up to six user-defined allocation types (i.e. Job, Phase, Task, Sub-Task, Location, Supervisor) for each detail record entered on both the time sheet entry and expense sheet entry windows. This information can be used for analysis, reporting and data exporting to other job costing or project management systems.
