Internal Uses For DataExchange:
DataExchange offers a variety of internal uses of your employee data including creating forms, letters (mail merge), labels, exporting to Word processor and Spreadsheet applications (Microsoft Word and Excel), creating text, HTML and XML files, interfacing with third-party software applications like accounting, payroll and job costing systems and many others as needed.
External Uses For DataExchange:
You can send and receive employee data with external vendors including your insurance carrier, benefits broker, payroll processor, PEO, TPA, FSA administrator, COBRA administrator, Retirement Fund administrator and many others as needed.
Flexible Export Definitions:
Use the Export Wizard to easily create export definitions that meet your exact needs. Define the desired tables and columns, use QBE or standard SQL statements to filter the desired records, define the field and record separators to match the requirements of the external system, create field maps, create data conversions (i.e. T=Terminated, etc.) and setup system defaults.
Flexible Import Definitions:
Use the Import Wizard to easily create import definitions that meet your exact needs. Define the desired tables and columns, define the source file to target file relationships, define the source types, define the field and record separators to match the requirements of the external system, define the file import definition, create field mapping, create data conversions (i.e. T=Terminated, etc.) and setup system defaults. The import process allows you to create new records or update existing records within the HRaspx database and establish import schedules.
Payroll Link Wizard:
Manage your export and import links between HRaspx and your payroll solution using the Payroll Link Wizard. Create new links using data from any relevant HRaspx database table, use one of the standard payroll links or modify a standard link to meet your unique data requirements. HRaspx offers standard payroll links for some of the leading payroll solutions including ADP PC/Payroll For Windows, ADP PC/Payroll For Windows 2.5 (No Buckets), ADP PC/Net, Zurich/Dataccount, Springbrook (Public Sector), Payroll Control Systems, Summit Software (PEO) and our Generic Payroll Template that can be used to quickly create a unique payroll link for any payroll solution you are using.
Scheduled Processing:
Manage the scheduling of your export and import processing by using the Microsoft Windows Scheduled Tasks Feature. This feature allows you to establish hourly, daily, weekly, etc. schedules for creating the export or import files. This will streamline the interface processing with very little intervention required.
